Animal Chiropractic
Dr. LiVolsi sees animals on Tuesdays and Fridays. Many animals respond dramatically to her services. You can visit her website at www.drdinalivolsi.com.
Dr. LiVolsi uses her hands and also sometimes a chiropractic adjusting instrument to deliver safe, effective chiropractic care. Speed of recovery depends on length of time the problems has been present, damage if any, the physical condition and age of the animal and cooperation of both the animal and owner.
Dr LiVolsi is certified and a member of the American Veterinary Chiropractic Assocation (AVCA), the only recognized certification body in the country for animal chiropractors. Dr. LiVolsi was Allegheny and Westmoreland County's first and only AVCA certified practitioner for years. She served on the AVCA's Practice Standard Committe and helped to write and administer their first national board. Since then, Dr. Dina has been a leader in this field by teaching certified veterinarians and chiropractors her own technique "ENERGYWORKS CHIROPRACTIC" for professional continuing education hours as well as the "INTENSE REVIEW PLUS" and "INTRODUCTION TO COMPLEMENTARY CARE FOR THE VETERINARIAN" seminars.
Dr. Dina LiVolsi is a nationally recognized lecturer in the field of animal chiropractic speaking at the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, the Midwest Veterinary Conference, and the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association annual conference. Dr. LiVolsi speaks regularly to local clubs - contact her today to check availability for her to come to your group's next event!
She also teaches the well-received "Canine Massage for Your Pet" classes.
IMPORTANT: When selecting a practitioner to perform chiropractic on your animal, please ASK for their education! Animal chiropractic is not taught in any regular chiropractic or veterinary school currently - it is a post-graduate course. Please be cautious if selecting a practitioner who took a weekend seminar and who is not certified through the AVCA. Please visit their website for current list at www.avcadoctors.com.
Please contact Dr. Dina today to discuss your animal's health. You will both be glad that you did!
